Participants work in interdisciplinary teams to advance green innovations with potential for societal impact.
The programme is cross-institutional, connecting students and researchers across Vienna’s ecosystem. Along the way, you will gain practical tools and methods to identify opportunities, evaluate feasibility and impact, and plan next steps.
At the end of the semester, teams present their projects at the Demo Day to a panel of experts and peers.

The program is open to master students, PhD candidates, and postdocs from the participating institutions. Students from all disciplines are invited to apply. Fully taught in English, it is designed to be accessible to all students from diverse academic backgrounds.
Complete the online application form on our application page by 08/02/2026. Selected participants will be contacted within a week after the application deadline.
Students interested in acquiring ECTS credits for the course should contact their respective student services center at their institution.
No prior experience is required. The program is designed to provide foundational knowledge in entrepreneurship, innovation, and technology while supporting participants throughout the process.
The course involves regular sessions, workshops, and team-based work. Full attendance is mandatory. Additional time will be required for project development and deliverables.
Teams will work on green innovations developed by researchers from the participating institutions. The aim is to translate these innovations into a business case with a clear path to real-world adoption.
Projects presented at the Demo Day may receive financial and mentoring support through the u:seed program, helping teams bring their innovations to reality.
