The green ilab connects students with researchers to turn climate and sustainability research into pilots, partnerships, and ventures that create measurable value for society and the environment. Work in interdisciplinary teams for one semester, learn by doing, and help launch a spin-off based on green innovations.

  • kick-off

    11 March

    Form teams, meet the researchers, choose your innovation, and start working on the project.

  • Weekly Sessions

    25 March to 10 June

    Join us for weekly sessions that combine content with teamwork and mentor check-ins. Review evidence, refine assumptions, and develop a business case for a green innovation.

  • Demo Day

    12 June

    Present your idea to our expert jury and other stakeholders at our Demo Day at the Sky Lounge. 

How it works

Please submit your application by 8 February using the form below.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • You are highly motivated to get sustainable innovations out into society
  • You are a Master’s student, PhD candidate, or postdoc from one of the partner institutions
  • AI checkers return a degree of “humanity” in your application higher than 80%.

Participants will be selected based on their motivation, background, and overall fit within the cohort. Selected students will be notified via email by 13 February.

Ready to meet your new teammates and explore the green inventions by our researchers? At the kick-off event, you will meet the researchers, form teams, and begin working on your project.
